Making her dramatic entrance at fashion's biggest night, the former star of 'The Simple Life' hits the red carpet at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City in an all-black ensemble.

AceShowbiz - Paris Hilton has finally made her Met Gala debut. Making her first-ever appearance at the fashion's biggest event that was held at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, the former star of "The Simple Life" looked stunning in a leather dress.

On Monday, May 1, the 42-year-old walked the red carpet of the 2023 Met Gala in a gown by designer Marc Jacobs. She slipped into a long black off-shoulder gown that featured a shimmering black sequin on the sleeves and bodice with shiny black leather highlighting the lower part.

For the special occasion, the "Cooking with Paris" star paired her dress with a matching floral choker necklace and a pair of sparkling massive diamond stud earrings. She completed her look with a pair of shimmering black platform heels while keeping her blonde hair in a sleek high ponytail.

Paris came to the event accompanied by Marc. When asked about inviting and escorting the socialite to the star-studded event, the designer previously told ET, "It's Paris F***ing Hilton!"

The 2023 Met Gala brought "Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty" as its theme in celebration of the late designer. One day before the big event, Paris took to Instagram to share a series of Instagram photos capturing herself and Karl. In its caption, she wrote, "Karl has always been a fashion inspiration to me. Such an icon and innovator. Love that he is the theme of this years #MetGala."

Paris made her Met Gala debut a few days after attending the Stop Institutional Child Abuse Act conference in Washington, D.C. Sharing photos from the event, she stated, "It feels surreal to be back in D.C. to finally introduce my federal bill to stand up and fight to #StopInstitutionalChildAbuse. The people who hurt you don't get the last word and I'm proud to have the opportunity to turn my pain into purpose. #Survivor."
