The 'Big Energy' femcee and Nicki started beefing after the 'Anaconda' hitmaker was upset that her song 'Super Freaky Girl' was snubbed in any rap categories in the 2022 Grammy Award nominations

AceShowbiz - Latto (Mulatto) may reignite her beef with Nicki Minaj when performing at Coachella. While hitting the stage at the 2023 music festival in Indio, Calif., the "Big Energy" raptress previewed her new music that featured what appeared to be a diss toward Nicki.

In a clip from her Sunday, April 16 performance, Latto rapped, "B***hes acting like they running s**t, they really ran through/ She thought I would kiss her a**, she mustn't have took her meds." She continued, "Say she got a problem, imaginary smoke/ B***h, you said it's up, then put on the floor."

TMZ also claimed that the "B***h From Da Souf" femcee yelled while walking off the stage, "P***y h*e… Let a b***h know, we tired of the subtweets this year."

People believed that the diss was directed toward Nicki, with whom Latto feuded on social media last year. Their beef started after Nicki was upset that her song "Super Freaky Girl" was snubbed in any rap categories in the 2022 Grammy Award nominations. The Trinidadian-born star later suggested that if "Super Freaky Girl" didn't get acknowledged for being rap, then other pop-adjacent rap songs like Latto's "Big Energy" shouldn't either.

"I have no prob being moved out the RAP category as long as we r ALL being treated FAIRLY, If ['Super Freaky Girl'] has [2 billion views] moved out RAP then so does Big Energy," Nicki tweeted at the time.

In response to that, Latto wrote, "Damn I can't win for losing… all these awards/noms I can't even celebrate." The two raptresses' beef even got bigger since then with Latto sending leaking audio from a phone conversation with the "Anaconda" hitmaker.

Back in February, Latto reflected on their beef in an interview. Calling their feud "disappointing," she told Billboard, "It's difficult navigating through situations like that because there's a disconnect. I will look at myself as a fan of someone and they will view [me] in a whole different light. It's disappointing. You just got to take it to the chin and keep pushing."
