AceShowbiz - Sarah Paulson shares how strong her friendship with Pedro Pascal is. In a new Esquire profile on "The Mandalorian" star, Sarah revealed that she used to give the actor money early in his career so he could eat.

"We would go to see movies all the time in those years," Sarah shared to Esquire's Dave Holmes. "And we would get so lost in them. You can fill in the blanks about the why of that however you like, but I think there were things we wanted to escape mentally, emotionally, spiritually."

The "American Horror Story" star, who attended the NYU Tisch School of the Arts together with Pedro, continued, "He's talked about this publicly, but there were times when I would give him my per diem from a job I was working on so that he could have money to feed himself."

At the time, "The Last of Us" star was a struggling actor bouncing from one failed audition to another. Back in 1999, he moved out to Los Angeles after booking bit parts on TV shows like "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and the MTV series "Undressed".

Pedro, meanwhile, shared that he initially thought that he was not going to be able to land a breakout role. "My vision of it was that if I didn't have some major exposure by the time I was twenty-nine years old, it was over, so I was constantly readjusting what it meant to commit my life to this profession, and giving up the idea of it looking like I thought it would when I was a kid. There were so many good reasons to let that delusion go," he admitted.

Thankfully, he was proven wrong. The actor is one of the most popular actors in film and television. His credits include "Game of Thrones", "Narcos" and "Wonder Woman 1984".

Gushing over Pedro, Sarah added, "Everybody wants a piece of him. You just want him to succeed. And that to me, I feel like, is the sign of a major movie star. I'm ready for him to take the reins from the guys from romantic comedies past, like Bruce Willis and Mel Gibson and all these guys."

While the "Bird Box" actress only talked positivity, some Internet users didn't think it was right for the Emmy-winning actress to expose Pedro like that. "Me outing my friend after not replying to my messages," one user said in an Instagram comment. Another fan added, "She shouldn't be putting all his business out there, that's so wrong."

Someone else similarly continued, "Maybe I'm over exaggerating and being over the top but her giving this information feels wrong like I would never do that to someone I consider a friend like that's their story to tell idk."
