AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn were never married despite Internet speculation stating the contrary. After news of their alleged split broke over the weekend, some of the pop star's fans were convinced that the ultra-private couple had secretly tied the knot in London prior to their breakup.
However, the news has been debunked by Page Six. A source tells the site that the marriage claim is "fully not true." The so-called insider insists that the 33-year-old singer/songwriter and the 32-year-old actor never tied the knot or had a wedding ceremony.
The wedding rumors swirled on the Internet after some anonymous tipsters told Deuxmoi that Taylor and Joe had a wedding ceremony in the U.K. last year. The sources, however, were not sure if the supposed marriage was legalized in the country or not.
In the meantime, words were also running rampant that Taylor has been seeing someone new following her split from Joe. The Instagram gossip account posted a tip from another anonymous source who claimed that the "Lavender Haze" songstress has been dating someone "older."
A source, however, tells Page Six that there's no truth to this rumor either. The source insists that the Grammy Award-winning artist is "100% single" now and isn't involved with anyone else after her alleged breakup from Joe.
Entertainment Tonight first reported the couple's split after six years of dating. According to the outlet, the split was amicable and "it was not dramatic." A source told the site, "The relationship had just run its course... It's why [Joe] hasn't been spotted at any shows." Page Six added that the pair broke up "a few weeks ago."
Neither Taylor nor Joe has publicly addressed the breakup rumors. Meanwhile, the "Amsterdam" star has been spotted filming a new music video in Liverpool as she takes a break from her "The Eras Tour". She was reportedly shooting "The Batman"-inspired scenes at Scouse landmarks St George's Hall and the Cunard Building last week and was seen at Pier Head on Sunday night, April 9.
