Prior to sharing the news about her return in the fourth installment of the buddy cop film series, the actress urges her fans to 'only talk about peace' after she's caught ignoring her ex at an Oscars after-party.

AceShowbiz - Vanessa Hudgens is set to reprise her role as female detective Kelly in "Bad Boys 4". The actress has confirmed the news on social media by sharing a screenshot of a report about her return for the upcoming film.

Deadline was the first to report about Hudgens' return in the fourth installment of the buddy cop action comedy film series. The site reported that filming will start within the next few months, but plot details are still kept under wraps.

She then took to her Instagram Story to let her followers hear it from her. She posted a screenshot of Deadline's article and let the headline do the talking.

Hudgens stars as Kelly, weapon expert of AMMO, in the third movie, "Bad Boys for Life". She is set to reunite with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, who will reprise their roles as Detective Lieutenant Michael Eugene 'Mike' Lowrey and Detective Lieutenant Marcus Miles Burnett respectively.

Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are also back as directors, with a script written by Chris Bremner. No release date is set for the movie just yet.

In other news related to Hudgens, she has seemingly broken her silence on her awkward run-in with Austin Butler, during which she appeared to ignore her ex at an Oscars after-party. After the video went viral, she posted a video of Jimmy Kimmel asking Malala Yousafzai for her take on Harry Styles and Chris Pine's Spitgate.

Yousafzai replied by saying that she "only talk[s] about peace." Echoing the message, Hudgens wrote over the clip, "Let's all be on the 'I only talk about peace' train. OK?"
