AceShowbiz - Diplo refuses to identify himself as gay despite his sexual experiences with men. The music producer isn't sure if he should be labeled as gay despite admitting to having gotten oral sex "from a guy."
The EDM artist got candid about his intimate experiences in a discussion about his sexuality with Emily Ratajkowski. In Tuesday's, March 14 episode of her "High Low" podcast, he told the model that he isn't "aroused by men that much," though he noted, "I'm sure I've gotten a blow job from a guy before. ... For sure. 100 [percent], yeah."
When asked by the 31-year-old beauty if he had a "specific memory," Diplo replied, "I've gotten a lot of blow jobs, but I don't know." He added, "I don't know if it’s gay unless you like make eye contact while there's the blowjob happening."
"I mean, getting a blow job is not that gay, I think," the 44-year-old DJ said, as he appeared to be reluctant to put a label on his sexuality. Emily responded, "I don't know. You tell me?"
After Emily referred to an off-air conversation they had about his sexuality, Diplo set the record straight on air. "I think the best answer I have is I'm not not gay," he stated. He added that he is attracted to "vibe" more than a specific gender, though admitting, "There are a couple guys... I could date, life partner-wise."
When talking about his TikTok For You Page dedicated to men chopping wood, the Major Lazer member admitted, "Wood chopping guy is kinda sexy." He continued, "I dont know if that's the thing that's gonna send me over to the gay side completely, but they're pretty hot."
Diplo has largely kept his dating life private, but he has been linked to a few famous ladies, including Katy Perry, whom he dated for several months in 2014. In 2020, he sparked dating rumors with Chantel Jeffries.
In the same year, Diplo confirmed on Instagram that he welcomed his third child, a son named Pace, with former Miss Universe contestant Jevon King. He also shares sons Lockett, 13, and Lazer, 9, with ex Kathryn Lockhart.
Back in 2021, he's reported in a relationship with TikToker Tinx after several outings together. While she didn't confirm they're an item, the 32-year-old gushed on E! News' "Daily Pop" in February 2022 that Diplo was "a very handsome man."
