The 24-year-old one half of Chloe X Halle has taken to Instagram comment to offer some clarity regarding the situation that she calls as a misunderstanding.

AceShowbiz - Chloe Bailey has broken her silence over the viral video of fans throwing objects at her while onstage at the New Balance Nationals' exclusive concert. The one half of Chloe X Halle offered some clarity regarding the situation that she dubbed a misunderstanding.

The clip began making its round online after The Shade Room posted the video on its Instagram page on Sunday, March 12. "Wayment! Not people throwing things at #ChloeBailey while she was performing. Sis was definitely dodging 'em though!" the blog wrote in the caption.

It didn't take long before Chloe caught wind of the video. Taking to the comments section, the Parkwood singer claimed the objects that were thrown at her were, in fact, New Balance wristbands. "lol the kids were trying to give me their light up wrist bands. they weren't throwing things at me to be mean. it was a great show. not everything is negative," the 24-year-old star clarified.

Despite that, some fans still thought the act was disrespectful. "This is not even funny. The disrespect is crazy," one person commented. Another user echoed the sentiment as saying, "Please explain the purpose of throwing items at people."

"I see Chloe comment but naw somebody was trying to hit her. There's a way they could have gave it to you instead of throwing it onstage like that," one fan opined. Showing love for Chloe, one fan added, "Chloe! You've got this. You were made for this. Notice how they constantly missed you. They can always try but will never succeed. You are light."

Someone else, meanwhile, urged the blog to fix the narrative, "You got the narrative wrong here... they were celebrating her..not throwing things at her. Fix the headline.. (edit in IG is an amazing tool)."

That aside, Chloe is currently on the road for "The In Pieces Tour", her first headlining tour in the U.S. "I'm headlining my very own solo tour performing all the songs from the new album," she said while announcing the tour last month. "Y'all I'm so excited. See you there."
