The 'Easy on Me' hitmaker makes such comment about the 'Waka Waka' singer's performance while interacting with her fans during her show at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

AceShowbiz - Adele has some thoughts about Shakira's recent fiery performance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon". The "Easy on Me" hitmaker trolled Shakira's ex Gerard Pique after she caught the Colombian's singer's live collab with Bizarrap.

On Saturday night, March 11, the British pop star interacted with her own fans at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. One of her fans happened to name Shakira as one of her favorite artists when Adele asked.

Suddenly, Adele brought up Shakira's recent performance. "Oh, I saw her performance last night on Jimmy Fallon. Oh, her ex-husband's in trouble!" the 34-year-old singer/songwriter said with a cackle.

Billboard made a correction to Adele's statement, saying the Latin superstar and her ex-partner Gerard were in a relationship for over 11 years. Although they share two children together, they weren't married.

Shakira brought her latest global hit, her Bizarrap-produced, post-breakup diss track "Music Sessions, Vol. 53" to Jimmy's late-night show Friday night, March 10. The "Waka Waka" hitmaker delivered a fired-up live take of the personal track, closely surrounded by fans.

In her interview with Jimmy, Shakira said that she knew the song, which throws jabs at Gerard and his new love interest, and has broken 14 Guinness World Records, would be a hit. "I started to feel it in my body, you know," Shak said. "I usually have this visceral sort of physical reaction to music."

Shakira also opened up about the song being an anthem for a lot of women. She noted that she had a very rough year after her break up with the footballer and writing the track has been so important for her. "I did write the song for me. But also, I feel that it was meant to be - and probably for so many women out there that needed a forum, too, and a voice to represent them in so many ways," she shared.
