The Duchess of Sussex marks International Women's Day by giving out baby gifts to expecting women during a visit to the Harvest Home shelter in Los Angeles.

AceShowbiz - Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex gave homeless pregnant women baby gifts on Wednesday, March 8. The 41-year-old former actress celebrated International Women's Day with a visit to the Harvest Home shelter in Los Angeles, where she and her team from her and husband Prince Harry's foundation Archewell handed out toys, books, and baby clothes to service users.
"For #IWD2023, Meghan visited @HarvestHomeLA, which provides housing, mental health support and classes to expectant mothers who have faced major challenges. The Archewell Foundation created a pop up baby boutique, hosted lunch from a female owned restaurant and made a donation (sic)," journalist Omid Scobie - who often serves as an unofficial spokesperson for Harry and Meghan - shared photos from the visit on Twitter and wrote."
In a statement on their website, the Archewell Foundation celebrated the "valuable" work of Harvest Home, which provides 28 beds to homeless pregnant women, as they detailed the visit from Meghan, who has Prince Archie, three, and 21-month-old Princess Lillibet with Harry.
The statement said, "Today, The Archewell Foundation celebrated International Women's Day with a visit to Harvest Home. This valuable organization helps provide housing, mental well-being support, and classes to expectant mothers who have faced tremendous challenges including domestic violence, substance use and homelessness. Since being founded in 1985, Harvest Home has supported over 600 pregnant women and their children."
