Things reportedly get heated between the two raptress after the 'Yucky Blucky Fruitcake' femcee mentions Nicki, whom the 'Muwop' hitmaker had a Twitter spat with before, in her acceptance speech.

AceShowbiz - The Billboard Women in Music was supposed to be an event where female musicians celebrated one other, but Latto (formerly Mulatto) unexpectedly got herself a new enemy at the ceremony. She reportedly got into an argument with Doechii backstage at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles, California.

During the Wednesday, March 1 ceremony, Doechii received the Rising Star award. Calling it a "huge huge step" for her, she said in her speech, "Thank God for my Mom. This is a special night for me, because bit-- i just wanna win something like. I just wanna win! So it feels so good! Thank you Coven! Y'all be going crazy, the first one to post everything, sneakin' to my rehearsals weird vibes. But, thank you guys so much for everything."

It all sounded okay until Doechii mentioned Nicki Minaj in her speech. She gave a shout-out to the people who won the award before her, including Lady GaGa, Janelle Monae and the "Anaconda" hitmaker, whom Latto infamously had a Twitter spat with before. When Doechii named Nicki, the camera panned to Latto who looked unamused.

Later when Latto received the Powerhouse Award, she appeared to make fun of Doechii's speech by mentioning other people who won the award before her as well. "Megan Thee Stallion won this award, Doja Cat won this award," she started. "It's crazy because my peers, I'm fans of my peers, and they're my peers. [The] Powerhouse award is not just for my team too. Teamwork makes the dream work."

Doechii reportedly "checked" Latto backstage for making a mockery of her acceptance speech, which then led to an intense argument between the two. According to words on the Internet, the "Yucky Blucky Fruitcake" femcee was about to "crack" the "Big Energy" hitmaker before security intervened. Billboard allegedly asked Latto and her team to escort themselves from the premises after her performance, which is why she cannot be seen throughout the rest of the show.

Meanwhile, Doechii seemingly further threw insults at Latto by hopping on Instagram Live to sing along and dance to "Barbie Tingz" by Nicki to celebrate her victories.

However, Latto has claimed that the allegation she was mocking Doechii's speech was a reach. She tweeted after the awards show, "Y'all arms not sore yet from all that REACHING?????????!!!" Fans also noticed that Doechii actually posted a video of her cheering Latto on to her Story.
