AceShowbiz - Kelsea Ballerini continued to get things off her chest following her divorce from Morgan Evans. When speaking in a new interview, the "Miss Me More" songstress called out her estranged husband for "taking half of the house he didn't pay for."

The 29-year-old slammed her ex when speaking to Alex Cooper on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast. When discussing the "nasty" dissolution of their marriage, she said, "He's putting out a song about being blindsided. He's taking half the house that he didn't pay for."

"How was I married to this person for this long," the Tennessee-born artist further argued. "And I had no idea… that bit of character was tucked within that human being."

This is not the first time Kelsea opened up about her divorce. Back in December 2022, she said on the iHeartRadio podcast "Tell Me About It with Jade Iovine", "For a while, it was kind of like, 'OK, this is just a new phase of a relationship,' because relationships go through seasons, right? And it's not always going to be butterflies and rainbows."

"For a long time, I was like, 'Oh this is just… The glitter wears off. That's what happens.' And then you get into a phase where you wait for it to come back," the Country Music Award winner, who has been linked romantically to actor Chase Stokes following her split from Morgan, continued. "And then sometimes it doesn't."

Kelsea, who finalized the divorce in November 2022, admitted to needing to "heal properly" with the support of her friends and family. She said, "Whether it was my mom or my dad or my friends, I've had my people really rally for me and I'm not ready to be alone yet. And I don't think that I'm avoiding anything, 'cause I'm definitely in my feels, cause I really want to heal properly… But yeah, I don't think that's what I need right now."
