In the meantime, Offset has denied that he and Quavo had a physical altercation backstage at the awards show over a special tribute to Takeoff for In Memoriam segment.

AceShowbiz - Something might have really happened between Offset and Quavo. A newly-released video saw Offset's wife Cardi B seemingly yelling at the emcees during what appeared to be a physical altercation backstage at the 2023 Grammy Awards.

In footage obtained by Entertainment Tonight on Monday, February 6, the "Bodak Yellow" raptress was heard shouting, "Both of y'all wrong. This is not right!" She then yelled, "No b****h, shut the f**k up cuz you shouldn't have been talking." However, it's not clear who she's yelling at or what exactly had set her off at that moment.

Earlier on Monday, TMZ reported that Quavo prevented Offset from joining him on stage to give a special tribute to Takeoff during the In Memoriam segment at the Grammys. Apparently, the Recording Academy asked Offset to join Quavo during his performance of "Without You". However, the reports alleged that Quavo blocked Offset from appearing on stage.

From there, the two were alleged to have gotten into a physical altercation that resulted in the two of them being pulled apart from one another. It's also reported that Quavo was the one who "started the fight."

A few hours after the reports emerged, Offset turned to Twitter to set the record straight. The "Ric Flair Drip" rapper flat-out denied fighting with Quavo just before the latter hit the stage to pay tribute to Takeoff, writing, "What tf look like fighting my brother [y'all] n***as is crazy."

Quavo and his late nephew Takeoff were said to have been extremely close before his tragic death. Takeoff was shot and killed at a bowling alley in Houston on November 1 last year after an altercation broke out over a dice game.

Quavo recently released heartbreaking song "Without You", on which he bids farewell to Takeoff. Offset, in the meantime, has honored Takeoff at his live performances. Last month, he expressed how much he missed his cousin, begging him to "come back."
