The network and Shed Media release a joint statement in response to report that the 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' alum gave the 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' OG an 'unwanted kiss' during filming of season 4.

AceShowbiz - Peacock has finally addressed the drama between Brandi Glanville and Caroline Manzo during filming of season 4 of "The Real Housewives of Ultimate Girls Trip". The network and Shed Media released a joint statement on Sunday, February 5, explaining that an investigation was launched after Brandi allegedly gave Caroline an "unwanted kiss" during filming.

"The safety and security of cast and crew while shooting is extremely important and we take all reports seriously," the statement to PEOPLE read. "In this situation, production immediately launched a comprehensive review and is taking appropriate action."

Prior to this, it was reported that Brandi was removed from filming after she made Caroline uncomfortable when the stars were at a party in Marrakech, Morocco. According to a source, the former star of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" "took things too far" and started "kissing [Caroline] multiple times throughout the evening without her consent."

The informant detailed, "It was unwanted. And Caroline's distress over the matter did not seem to stop Brandi. Things escalated and physical boundaries allegedly were crossed that Caroline felt were serious and uncomfortable."

Following the incident, the production team was said to have reported what happened to higher ups. Meanwhile, filming continued until the next morning.

Brandi allegedly apologized to Caroline via text message, but the production still decided to remove Brandi from the trip in the afternoon, unbeknownst to Caroline. "Brandi's behavior was inappropriate, so she was asked to leave," a third source told the news outlet.

Later that night, Caroline allegedly didn't want to proceed with the filming and chose to exit the show of her own accord. The first informant noted that the star "needed to process this outside of the reality TV environment." Her co-stars and the production team fully supported "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" OG star's decision as they proceeded with the filming before wrapping up on Saturday night, January 28.

Also starring in season 4 of "The Real Housewives of Ultimate Girls Trip" are Vicki Gulvanson, Gretchen Rossie, Camille Grammer, Phaedra Parks, Eva Marcille and Alex McCord. Premiere date for the season has yet to be announced.
