'Like a Saviour' is expected to appear on the English songstress' forthcoming fifth studio album, 'Higher Than Heaven', which will hit music streaming services on March 24.

AceShowbiz - Ellie Goulding has unleashed a new single called "Like a Saviour" ahead of the release of her upcoming album. The singer dropped the song on Wednesday, February 1 along with its official music video.
Directed by Joe Connor, the visuals shows Ellie and a group of backing dancers stranded in a desert. "Spinning in your starlight/ You got the power to ease my mind/ You're leading me out of the dark/ Like a saviour," she sings in the chorus. "Shining in my soul, oh-woah, oh-woah."
"Spinning in your starlight/ You got the power to change my life," she continues. "You're leading me out of the dark/ Like a saviour (Like a saviour)/ Shining in my soul, oh-woah, oh-woah."
"Like a Saviour" is expected to appear on Ellie's forthcoming fifth studio album, "Higher Than Heaven". Of the project, which is set for March 24 release, she said, "There was definitely a darkness about [the past two years] that was palpable in the studio, with everyone having gone through it differently. I think for that reason, nobody wanted to sit and agonize over some relationship or some drama."
"So that's how this album came together. [Higher Than Heaven is] about being passionately in love," she continued. "But it's a hyper form of love, almost like a drug induced feeling. It feels almost artificial and there's the potential for a crash."
