AceShowbiz - Rupert Grint won't take his health for granted. In a new interview, the Ron Weasley depicter in the "Harry Potter" film series admitted that he's now "living in fear" after suffering from kidney stones while filming "Servant".

The 34-year-old shared his story while speaking to GQ. He said battling the disease while working was "one of the worst things I've ever experienced." Also, the British native revealed that some pieces of the mineral deposits got stuck although his doctor used a laser to blast them.

"So they had to put a stent in my, er, urethra," the father on one said. "I was weeing blood for five days. I live in fear now that it will happen again."

While Rupert claimed the stones were caused by a lack of hydration, his "Servant co-star Nell Tiger Free begged to differ. "Rupert had a storyline where his character drank these leafy kale juices," she explained.

"What I love about him is if it says in the script 'He drinks a pint' of something, Rupert will drink the full thing in every single take," the 23-year-old added. "Apparently the surplus of those greens in your body can cause kidney stones."

During the interview, Rupert also recalled he was suffering from tonsillitis for several years after filming 2005's "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire". He recounted, "While I was filming, there was never any time to get them out. From Goblet to the end of the franchise, I was just ill. My tonsils were absolutely massive."

"They became a metaphor, really," he said of the infected pads of soft tissue in his throat. "So as soon as I finished my work, I got them removed. It was one of the best decisions I ever made."
