During his appearance on Shannon Sharpe's 'Club Shay Shay' podcast, the Atlanta rapper defends his rapper son, noting that people only focus on bad things about King.

AceShowbiz - T.I.'s love for his son King Harris is unwavering despite criticism surrounding the young rapper's behavior. During his appearance on Shannon Sharpe's "Club Shay Shay" podcast on Tuesday, January 24, Tip defended his son, noting that people only focus on bad things about King.

"I can't say he's a great kid enough, but the media don't talk enough about the good point," the Atlanta icon said. "All they do is focus only on the bad because they got more clicks."

T.I. added, "I try to make them aware that we can'T talk about things we think they should be rather than acknowledging them for what we know who they are. He's getting better everyday."

Not stopping there, the "T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle" star further shared messages for the critics out there. "One thing I want to say. As much as criticism that I receive about my son, I want to shed a light on the fact [that] we all got bad a** kids," he noted, prompting Shannon to laugh. "Don't make it seem like I'm the only one who got bad kid."

"You feel what I'm saying? If you don't get a bad a** kid, and you get one, you got lucky," he added.

Some fans agreed with his point. "I love his perspective…plus we all know, at least one kid gonna give you a taste of your own medicine," one fan said in an Instagram comment. "And before some parents try to act like their kids are borderline perfect, just know them kids sneaking & geeking," one other comment read.

Someone else added, "It doesn't matter how much you install in your kids , How much of a good parent you maybe , kids will do what they want when they can , you know how many kids come from good homes and still end up getting caught up ? Yea . Ps. You can't hold your kids hands the whole way. They must learn from their mistakes."

However, some others slammed T.I. for making excuses for King. "Speak for YOURSELF, Clifford! All my kids are respectful, honorable and admirable," one user wrote. "Sir, he issue is, we correct out kids on their actions, NOT make excuses for them."
