AceShowbiz - Apparently nothing romantic is going on between Sean Penn and Robin Wright right now despite their recent sightings together. After much speculation about their relationship, the former spouses are reportedly not back together as a couple after all.

"They are both single right now and get along great," a source tells PEOPLE. Despite enjoying each other's companion, the two stars are not a romantic item as the so-called insider stresses, "Sean has always said that Robin is the love of his life. He regrets many things that happened during their marriage. He really enjoys spending time with her now."

Sean and Robin were seen together at LAX on Sunday, January 15. At the time, the "Mystic River" star could be seen carrying a black backpack while the "House of Cards" alum walked behind him with a black suitcase. He kept it simple in a casual beige tee, cargo pants, a black jacket and winter boots.

Robin, meanwhile, kept warm in a black turtleneck, jeans and brown boots. The Golden Globe Award winner also brought a white puffer jacket in her arms.

Two days later, the duo were seen together again as they left LAX, fueling the speculation that they were traveling together 13 years after their divorce. It appears that they have returned from their short trip together.

Sean and Robin were married from 1996 until 2010. They share son Hopper, 29, and daughter Dylan, 31.

Their trip comes four months after Robin called it quits with her husband Clement Giraudet. She filed for divorce from the Saint Laurent executive in September 2022 to end their four-year marriage.

As for Sean, he finalized his divorce from Leila George in April 2022 following their 15-month marriage. The Oscar-winning actor and the daughter of actor Vincent D'Onofrio dated for four years before tying the knot in July 2020.
