Model Jeremy Ruehlemann Died at 27 Two Days After Photo Shoot, Christian Siriano Pays Tribute

In his final social media post, the New Jersey native model, who previously worked for Perry Ellis and Superdry, shared BTS photo of a photo shoot with Tommy Hilfiger.

AceShowbiz - Model Jeremy Ruehlemann has left the fashion industry reeling. The New Jersey native passed away at the age of 27, only a few days after he had a photo shoot. News of his death was broken by his friend, designer Christian Siriano.

On Sunday, January 22, Christian turned to his Instagram page to share photos of them as well as Jeremy's modeling moments. In the heartfelt caption, the fashion designer wrote, "I have never posted anything like this but to lose a friend who was such a beautiful soul is just really hard."

"This is for Jeremy, the most beautiful man that gave so much love to everyone he met no matter what. He was one of my muses and he always will be," Christian continued. He went on to note that Jeremy "inspired" him, adding that he "will love him forever."

"I'm sending all my love to his family and friends who lost someone so special. I know we will meet again one day but right now I just want to hug him," Christian penned. He concluded his grieving post as writing, "Rest well J we all love you so much! Send love to his family today please."

Celebrity makeup artist Hung Vanngo also mourned Jeremy's death. Hung wrote alongside two images of the late model that he's "Heartbroken by the news of my dear friend @Ruehlemann's passing." He added, "He made such a large impact on everyone he met. He was one of those people that even if you met him once he would have a part of your heart forever. My Team and I love and cherish the time we had working with him. A true friend, you will be loved and remembered forever. RIP Jeremy [broken heart emoji]."

Stylist Luis Rodriguez also posted snapshots that he had just taken of Jeremy over the weekend. In the caption, Luis saluted him as "A FAB model and sweet man."

In his final Instagram post, Jeremy shared a behind-the-scenes snap of a photo shoot with Tommy Hilfiger. "bts with Tommy," he captioned a shirtless image with a clothing rack in the background. In the comment section, Tommy's younger brother Andy Hilfiger wrote, "So sorry [folded hands emojis]."

Jeremy's cause of death has not been made public. Throughout his career, Jeremy modeled for Perry Ellis and Superdry and appeared in magazines like GQ and Playhaus.
