AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Garner united for Seraphina's musical event. Proving that their efforts to blend their families have been working well so far, the singer/actress and her husband Ben Affleck recently joined his ex-wife for a show starring his second child.
On Sunday, January 22, they were spotted as they arrived separately at a performance hall in Santa Monica, California. It appears to be the first time J.Lo was publicly spotted attending an event together with her current husband's ex-wife since she married the actor last year.
J.Lo took her daughter Emme to the event. The 14-year-old looked close with both her mom and Affleck. The teen, who dressed casually in a black hoodie and light blue jeans, was holding hands with her mother while walking together. In another photo obtained by Daily Mail, Affleck was seen putting a protective arm around his step-daughter.
J.Lo was effortlessly stylish in a short green tweed jacket over a pale green ribbed turtleneck sweater that she paired with high-waisted jeans. The "Marry Me" star also wore an olive-colored set of platform Louboutins and accessorized with round sunglasses, while carrying a brown Birkin bag from Hermes.
Affleck rocked a charcoal jacket with a black untucked shirt, black jeans and weathered dark leather boots. They were also joined by his mother Christopher Anne Boldt, who wore a charcoal cardigan with a black top, black slacks and a long red scarf draped around her throat, along with a black quilted handbag.
Garner, meanwhile, was seen arriving with two of her kids, Violet and Samuel. They dressed more laid-back for the outing, with the "Alias" alum opting for a puffy navy blue down coat with a ribbed collar over a gray ribbed sweater, teamed with cropped blue jeans and a pair of teal sneakers.
Violet wore a red patterned jumpsuit with white trainers and a cream-colored cardigan decorated with hearts. The 17-year-old also carried a simple black handbag slung across her body and brought along a high-quality respirator-style mask for inside the venue.
As for her 10-year-old brother, he rocked a cool set of red, white and black Nike high tops that contrasted with his blue hoodie and dark jeans with blown-out patches over the knees. He looked affectionate with his mother, nuzzling up against her as they headed toward the building.
J.Lo recently opened up about an "emotional transition" that she and her kids went through after she married Affleck. The 53-year-old said on "Today" earlier this month, "We moved in together, the kids moved in together, so it's been like a really kind of emotional transition."
Despite the ups and down, she called 2022 the "best year." She added, "At the same time... all your dreams coming true, it's just been a phenomenal year." She went on gushing about the past year, "Best year, I think, since my kids were born."
