Robert Pattinson Makes Bold Fashion Statement in Skirt at Dior Fashion Show

The 'Batman' actor turns heads as he shows up in a blue sequin kilt paired with a caramel-colored fur jacket, a pair of knee-high socks and boots when attending the Paris Fashion Week event.

AceShowbiz - Robert Pattinson knew how to command attention at a red carpet event. The British heartthrob, who has been the face of Dior Homme fragrance since 2013, made a bold fashion statement as he swapped pants for a fierce skirt at Dior Homme's fall/winter 2023 menswear show.

Showing up for the Paris Fashion Week event on Friday, January 20, the actor, best known for his role as Edward Cullen in the "Twilight Saga" film series, confidently posed on the black carpet while wearing a blue sequin kilt. The glitzy piece featured a tea-length construction and subtle pleats.

Robert paired the skirt with a caramel-colored fur jacket that he wore zipped up. "The Batman" hunk completed the look with a pair of knee-high socks and black leather boots as he had his hair in his famous messy style.

At the event, Robert posed with fellow celebrities, including Gwendoline Christie, Eddie Redmayne, Karlie Kloss and Christian Dior CEO, Delphine Arnault. According to WWD, either Eddie or Robert joked that the latter's skirt came with "a little extra ventilation."

During the fashion show, models showcased different iterations of Robert's skirt on the runway. One strutted their stuff in a silk blue version and a gray wool design, while other standout pieces included glittery shorts, a satin trench coat and a two-toned puffer coat - all in soft, muted shades.

Also spotted at the event were David Beckham and his son Cruz Beckham. The former professional soccer player looked handsome in a classic charcoal gray set, white shirt and boots. Cruz opted for heather gray trousers and a blazer. He rounded out his outfit with a silver tie worn backwards, sneakers and red-framed sunglasses.

Creative director Kim Jones spoke about the collection to Vogue. "For me, I read it as about rental and change: times changing ... So, it begins with Christian Dior dying, and then Yves Saint Laurent coming in and suddenly doing new things. And there's a lot of me," he shared.

Yves worked alongside Christian before taking over following the latter's death in 1957. The French fashion designer became world's youngest creative director at age 21 before starting his own eponymous label in 1961. The fashion giant died in 2008.
