Despite refusing to meet 1-year-old Theo, the professional basketball player reportedly will be listed as the father on the baby's birth certificate in the paternity settlement agreement.

AceShowbiz - There's an update on the legal battle between Tristan Thomspon and Maralee Nichols regarding their paternity case. It's unveiled that the NBA star agreed to pay his baby mama $9,500 in monthly child support.

According to TMZ, the professional basketball player also agreed to cover some of Maralee's lawyer fees. In addition, Maralee will have sole custody of their 1-year-old son Theo.

Despite refusing to meet Theo, Tristan reportedly will be listed as the father on the baby's birth certificate. The paternity settlement agreement will be filed on Friday, December 16 in L.A. County Superior Court.

Maralee gave birth to Theo in December 2021, shortly after slamming Tristan with a paternity lawsuit. She claimed to have gotten pregnant after hooking up with him in March of that year when he was still dating [Khloe Kardashian]. After taking a DNA test, it was confirmed that he is Theo's father.

Tristan and Khloe eventually split. "I find out what Tristan is doing with the rest of the world. A courtesy would be not doing it. But fine if you do it you are not even going to give me a f**king heads-up before the rest of the world?" the Good American founder revealed in a June episode of "The Kardashians".

"It is just an additional slap in my face. It is humiliating. I am embarrassed," the TV personality added. "I would prefer to be alone than to be around people."

One month before Maralee welcomed her baby son, Tristan and Khloe underwent a surrogacy for their second child. Then on August 5, Tristan and Khloe welcomed their baby No. 2. "Khloe is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing," a rep for the reality star said in a statement. "We'd like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloe can focus on her family."
