The 'Anna Wintour' raptress details on Instagram her past traumatic gig after she cancels her show just hours before she's set to hit the stage in Brisbane.

AceShowbiz - Azealia Banks left her Australian fans disappointed. The "Anna Wintour" raptress stunned her fans after she pulled out of a gig just hours before she was set to hit the stage at The Tivoli in Brisbane on Tuesday, December 13 due to trauma from a past gig.

In an Instagram post, the artist  explained the decision, detailing her past horrifying experiences in the city. "I'm so sorry you guys - actually I'm not sorry - but listen: last time I was in Brisbane and y'all threw s**t on the stage and near almost f**king hit me in the face with a f**king bottle of soda or whatever that s**t was," Azealia shared in a video.

"That was the most racist, most demoralising experience of my f**king life and right now I'm on a really good track," the raptress continued. "Sydney and Melbourne are the only cities I really want to play. Y'all got a whole different culture around here. I am too far away from home."

She added, "I am a beautiful black woman and I am not going to get in front of some audience of white people for them to be throwing shit at me. I am so not sorry. I am not sorry at all. Brisbane, y'all are just going to have to take the L and smoke it."

Azealia later followed it up with another video, announcing that the performance would happen but with extra security measures. "Any and everything that can be considered a [projectile] must be checked in at coat check. No keys, no coins, no hair brushes, no vape pens, no lighters. No drinks on the dancefloor. The minute something stupid happens I'm leaving," she explained.

Calling the Australian tour her "farewell tour," the hip-hop star noted, "After this run this will be my very last time touring Australia. This place makes me utterly miserable and I'm too black and beautiful to have a bunch of white people in my face playing with me over their WEAK A** CURRENCY."

However, Point Productions, the promoter that brought the star to the country, confirmed that the show was canceled "due to unforeseen circumstance." The promoter additionally said that all ticket holders would be refunded.

In response to the news, fans immediately criticized Azealia. "Better question, why have a gig scheduled and canceled right before it starts then just not having it scheduled at all," a fan commented. "She's actually really talented. Everything else is just a mess…," another person added.

"Girl so why book? Or was the sales to low?" another person questioned. "She's the female version of Kanye… needs to sit down think before she speaks," one other said, referring to Kanye West. "So why book it in the first place?" asked one commenter.
