AceShowbiz - Cardi B has given fans a special treat. Though she won't release her upcoming album until next year, the "WAP" hitmaker unleashed a snippet of her new music on Twitter.

The Grammy-winning artist shared the song preview on Monday, December 12. "HERE some scraps since yall STARVING," she excitedly told her 27 million followers on the blue bird app.

In the audio clip, Cardi throws shades at her critics. "They be watching every time that I post/ Posted nothing, always gotta do the most/ B***hes sound like you broke," she spits.

It remains unclear whether the wife of Offset will include the track on her upcoming sophomore album. However, when a fan wondered why the song was scrapped, she simply replied, "I just don't love it."

Cardi decided to unleash the snippet after someone uploaded a fake reference track featuring "cliche" lyrics. "I just feel like these are things that people think that I want or would say," she explained. "Like party wit Cardi ? That's so late for me to say is like me saying okruuuuuuu again …..And Jenny from them block sample it's like cliche & expected…..Nice try tho."

Earlier this month, Cardi admitted that anxiety is behind the postponement of her upcoming album. "I'm just a mom and I do have anxiety," the Bronx native said in a Tuesday, December 6 live stream. "I've been having a lot of anxiety, because I know right after I drop my album, I have to go out on tour and I have bad separation anxiety from my kids."

"When it comes to music and everything, I just be feeling like I don't be liking anything. I feel like I got so many songs and I don't like anything," she continued. "I feel like nothing is good enough… And I got so much money saved up I just be like, 'Yeah, whatever the f**k.' "
