AceShowbiz - Al Roker has shared an update with fans amid his ongoing health issues. Days after he was readmitted to a hospital, the "Today" weathercaster said he hopes to come home "soon."

Making use of Instagram on Thursday, December 8, the 68-year-old posted a photo of the sunrise and city skyline. "Hopefully coming home soon but when your spirit sags a bit, you get to see that and recharge. God Bless you all for all the prayers and well wishes for me and my family," he captioned the snap.

Al was first hospitalized due to a blood clot in mid-November. Later that month, he revealed that he had been discharged from the hospital and gave a shout-out to his colleagues, Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie, as they were hosting Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

"Back home in time to catch a little bit of the #macysthanksgivingdayparade," Al penned in the caption. "Missing being next to @savannahguthrie and @hodakotb."

Unfortunately, Al was rushed to the hospital once again just 24 hours after being released. A source told Page Six that he was taken away by ambulance to the uptown Manhattan hospital. Meanwhile, his wife Deborah Roberts tried to break into their malfunctioned Tesla to retrieve her mobile phone to follow him.

Deborah allegedly attempted to "smash her way through a reinforced glass window on the front side of the car with the help of a neighbor outside their Upper East Side home," according to witnesses.

One witness told the outlet, "Al was taken from his home in a stretcher back to the hospital on Friday, the day after Thanksgiving." The onlooker continued, "His condition was worrying, but once back in the hospital, he improved."
