The 'Nope' actress is criticized for revealing that she and her boyfriend Darius Jackson are expecting a baby together during her opening monologue in the December 3 episode of 'Saturday Night Live'.

AceShowbiz - Keke Palmer definitely can rely on Kash Doll. The "Akeelah and the Bee" star has been defended by the hip-hop star after being trolled for announcing her pregnancy on national TV without a husband.

On Tuesday, December 6, a woman under the username @MrsFarrakhan on Twitter shared her opinion on Keke's televised pregnancy announcement. "Pregnancy announcement on national tv without a husband is an embarrassment. Do Asian women do that? Or White women? We have got to stop normalizing Black women being single mothers. Mother and father as husband and wife! Together! Announce that!" so the woman, supposedly called Danielle Farrakhan, wrote.

Danielle's tweet later sparked debate on the blue bird app as well as on Instagram, soon after The Neighborhood Talk reposted it. Some social media users defended Keke, including Kash. Taking to her Instagram Story, the "Single and Happy" femcee reposted TNT's post, along with a message that read, "B***h shutttt upppppp what if she don't what to get married????"

Kash Doll defended Keke Palmer after a troll slammed her for announcing pregnancy on TV without 'a husband.'

Aside from Kash, singer Toni Romiti commented on TNT's post, "Why as black people are we constantly seeking validation from the gaze of other races? Why do you care what other groups of women are doing with their pregnancy announcements? If she's happy and healthy that's all that should matter."

Other fans, in the meantime, pointed out that Keke is currently in a relationship with her boyfriend Darius Jackson. "but her boyfriend posted a photo right after lady…….. I understand marriage but I think KeKe's in a relationship. which is how marriages typically start. but Ima shut up," one person noted, with another highlighting, "Keke has a man. She might not be married, but she has a partner. I don't hear nothin bout those Kardashians that yall seem to love so much bringing children into this world out of wedlock."

Keke announced that she and her beau Darius are expecting their first child together during her opening monologue in the December 3 episode of "Saturday Night Live". "There's some rumors going around, people have been in my comments saying, 'Keke's having a baby, Keke's pregnant,' and I wanna set the record straight - I am!" she said before debuting her pregnant belly.

"I gotta say, though, it is bad when people on the internet spread rumors about you y'all, but it's even worse when they're correct. I mean, like, I was trying so hard to keep it on the down low, 'cause I got a lot of stuff going on, you know?" the "Nope" star further raved. "But honestly this has been the biggest blessing, and I am so excited. Guys, I'm going to be a mom."
