AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lopez has a huge announcement for fans. To reveal that she has a new album on the way called "This is Me ... Now", the "On the Floor" hitmaker shared an epic 20-year transformation video.

On Friday, November 25, the 53-year-old posted a clip of her recreating the cover of her 2002 album "This Is Me... Then" before transforming into the 2022 version of herself. "This is me then," she said in the footage, adding, "This is me now."

The news arrived on the 20th anniversary of "This Is Me… Then", which she wrote and produced. As for the new project, it will feature 13 tracks in total, including the title track, "To Be Yours", "Mad in Love", "Can't Get Enough", "Rebound", "not. going. anywhere.", "Dear Ben pt. ll" and "Midnight Trip to Vegas", which is a nod to her marriage ceremony with Ben Affleck back in July.

According to a press release, J.Lo's upcoming album "chronicles the emotional, spiritual and psychological journey that she has taken over the past two decades." It added, "Featuring confessional songs, reflections on the trials of her past, upbeat celebrations of love with her signature powerhouse vocals, This Is Me…Now shines a spotlight on her tough childhood, unsuccessful relationships and the incredible emotional journey she has been on."

The "Marry Me" actress first teased the record in her Vogue cover story. Describing it as a "musical odyssey" like Pink Floyd's "The Wall", she said, "I'm not one of these tortured artists... Yes, I've lived with tremendous sadness, like anybody else, many, many times in my life, and pain. But when I make my best music or my best art is when I'm happy and full and feel lots of love."

"This Is Me ... Now", which is dubbed "a philosophy, a reflection, a zeitgeist moment", will serve as J.Lo's ninth studio album. It will serve as a follow-up to "A.K.A.", which was dropped in June 2014.
