The 45-year-old embattled rapper/designer makes use of his Twitter account to reveal that he has asked the MAGA leader to be his 'running mate' after he announced his 2024 presidential bid.

AceShowbiz - Kanye West has shared his next move after announcing his 2024 presidential bid. The embattled rapper took to his Twitter account to reveal that he had asked Donald Trump to be his "running mate."

Hinting at his meeting with the MAGA leader at his Mar-a-Lago residence and resort in Palm Beach, Florida, the "Donda" artist wrote on Tuesday, November 22, "First time at Mar-a-Lago. Rain and traffic." He added, "Can't believe I kept President Trump waiting And I had on jeans Yikes."

In the same tweet, the Yeezy designer also asked his 32.2 million followers for their opinion. "What you guys think his response was when I asked him to be my running mate in 2024?" he questioned while giving his fans two options to pick, "That's very Ye" and "That's very Nay." So far, more than 50% of the voters thought that Trump, who also announced that he's running for president in 2024, would accept the proposal.

In response to Ye's tweet, some Internet users thought it was all joke. "American Politics: this is why many of us don't take it seriously. It's a joke!" one person wrote in an Instagram comment. Someone else added, "I wish this was all a joke but we really living in times where celebrities are running for political positions…. Like please be forrealZ."

Going against Ye and Trump joining forces, a user wrote, "With their powers combined, the world would end within 7 business days.!!! Absolutely NOT." Slamming both the Chicago rapper and his supporters, one person noted, "But y'all STILL support this man…and you're going to make an excuse for him, it's ALL apart of the plan right? Let's be real, Ye does not love his own people and seeks white validation over ANYTHING."

Ye confirmed that he'll be running for the oval office once again in a video that circulating on Twitter earlier this month. "This is Milo right here, working on the campaign," he said in the clip, introducing controversial far-right figure Milo Yiannopoulos. "Is that an announcement?" he was then asked and Milo laughed and replied, "I guess it is. Thanks, I accept."

When the cameraman asked the 45-year-old rapper if he is "running" for president, the ex-husband of Kim Kardashian confirmed, "Yes." He continued, "It's simple 'cause ain't nobody can tell me, you know, 'You should say this, you shouldn't say that,' you know? It's just we're moving towards the future."
