Roddy Ricch Hailed as 'Hero' for Paying Everyone's Groceries for the Holiday

In a video that has been surfacing online, the 24-year-old emcee can be seen greeting shoppers at a Ralphs grocery store, announcing that he will pay for their items.

AceShowbiz - Roddy Ricch has gained praise for his generosity. After a video of him paying for everyone's groceries for the holiday made its way online, the "Down Below" rapper was showered with complimentary comments by Internet users, with one calling him a "hero."

In the clip, the 24-year-old emcee could be seen greeting shoppers at a Ralphs grocery store. "Yo yo yo. What's up? It's Roddy Ricch. You know, if I got any shoppers in here, we just came through to pay for everybody's groceries for the next 30 minutes," he declared on the store's PA system.

"So, you know, if you got your groceries and you wanna have us pay for 'em, we 'gon help y'all out. We're here for y'all. You know what I'm saying?" he added. "Make y'all way to the register. We got y'all. 'Preciate y'all. I love LA."

A woman then expressed her gratitude, telling Roddy, "Thank you. God bless you. Thank you so much." Another lady, meanwhile, took a selfie with the rapper and mentioned that his kindness made her want to cry.

A man named Bishop Johnny Young introduced himself to the hip-hop star, saying, "This never happened to me in [my] 71 years of life and this is a blessing today." The bishop continued, "We appreciate him for this miracle today. And may God bless him and shine upon him, and this was much needed today. God sent him in such a time as this."

Many have since applauded Roddy, with one writing, "@RoddyRicch really bought everyone's groceries today at the store, hometown hero." Another gushed, "This was nice of him! Times are hard! Some people are literally having to chose between bills & food."

A different user raved, "This is so dope . I love him even more for this." Someone else added, "LOVE to see acts of kindness. He has no idea how much he blessed them people, love to see it."

On Friday, November 18, Roddy released a new album called "Feed Tha Streets 3". Speaking of the 15-track set, which features guest appearances from Lil Durk and Ty Dolla $ign, he told Zane Lowe, "I didn't want to worry about anything outside of the studio. I wanted to worry about the music the most and give my fans the best experience."
