AceShowbiz - Billie Eilish and Jesse Rutherford's romance is seemingly going so well. If a new report is to be believed, the "Happier Than Ever" hitmaker has introduced The Neighbourhood lead vocalist to her parents.
According to HollywoodLife.com, the 20-year-old pop star's parents are supportive of her 11-year gap romance. "She's fallen for him and vice versa. She has introduced him to her parents, and they think he is a total gentleman," a source spilled to the outlet in an article posted on Tuesday, November 1. "They believe that they complement each other well. They trust him and he is sincere and only wants to make sure she is happy."
Making things better, Billie's co-collaborator and older brother FINNEAS reportedly approves of Billie and Jesse. "It helped a lot that Jesse was friends with Billie's brother FINNEAS too because he is the toughest critic and is so overprotective of her," the so-called insider explained.
Previously, a source close to the talented brother and sister duo divulged to the outlet that FINNEAS is all for his little sister's new relationship and likes to see her "so happy and giddy."
Billie seemed to have found solace in the fact that her family approves her relationship with the 31-year-old rocker as it has been widely criticized by social media critics due to their 11-year age difference.
Earlier on Tuesday, Billie made her romance with Jesse Instagram official. In photos taken from a Halloween party, the "Bad Guy" songstress dressed up as a baby while her beau channeled an old man, even wearing prosthetics to look old.
Of the Halloween costumes, a source close to the couple confirmed to HollywoodLife.com that it was their way of pushing back against the criticism they received and "was both of their ideas."
"They thought it was hilarious and so perfect," the insider further explained. "Their friends thought it was very in line with their sarcastic sense of humor. They know what people are saying about their age difference and they really don't care at all."
The source added, "Eleven years is really nothing and they are on the same plane emotionally and spiritually. Billie is an old soul and she way beyond her years. Jesse treats her with the same love and respect that he always has. The important thing is that he treats her how she deserves to be treated, regardless of age."
Billie and Jesse have known each other for several years, but appeared to catch feelings this fall. Romance rumors between the two emerged after they were caught holding hands at Universal Studios' Halloween Horror Nights on October 14.
