AceShowbiz - Congratulations are in order for Rotimi and her fiancee Vanessa Mdee. The actor and his singer/songwriter partner are expanding their family as they are currently expecting their second child together, a baby girl.

Making the big announcement with PEOPLE, the 33-year-old told the outlet, "We're excited to announce that our baby girl is on the way. What a beautiful testament to GOD's favor. We are overjoyed."

Rotimi also took to his Instagram page to share the good news. Sharing a video from the gender reveal moment, he wrote, "Baby #2!!! It's a girl!" In the clip set to Rotimi's new song "Make You Say", the expecting parents could not hide their joy as they learned that their second child is a girl.

The "Power" star flashed a big smile after pink confetti fell from a black umbrella that he opened. Meanwhile, Vanessa jumped and clapped her hands several times in excitement before the pair shared an embrace. Both of them dressed in white.

Rotimi and Vanessa first met at an Essence Festival afterparty in New Orleans and have been "inseparable ever since." They made their relationship public in November 2019 by sharing a picture of them on a date night.

Rotimi said in an interview that she knew he would be her husband, only two days after meeting him. "Vee headed back to Africa [at the time], but we quickly realized we couldn't and didn't want to live without each other," she shared.

The couple got engaged on December 30, 2020 in Atlanta. In 2021, they revealed that they were expecting their first child to PEOPLE, just weeks before the baby's arrival. "We are super excited to welcome our son. As first-time parents, everything about this experience has been a brand-new challenge. We love it," they said at the time.

The first child, Seven Adeoluwa Akinosho, was born on September 29, 2021. Rotimi shared the news by posting on Instagram a close-up picture of the then-newborn baby's tiny hand.
