The 25-year-old YouTuber-turned-boxer out-boxed the 47-year-old MMA legend and rallied for a knockdown in the final round to earn a unanimous decision for the solid win.

AceShowbiz - Jake Paul has found support in his brother Logan Paul. Shortly after being accused of only fighting old boxers following his victory over MMA legend Anderson Silva, Jake was defended by his older sibling.

Shortly after knocking down Silva on Saturday night, October 29, many Internet users trolled Jake by mocking him for fighting boxers who nearly retire instead of someone his age. Responding to the troll, Logan tweeted, "Jake tried to fight two boxers this year on separate occasions (Tommy Fury, 23 years old, 8-0, AND Hasim Rahman JR, 31 year old, 12-1) and they BOTH BACKED OUT." He added, "A combat legend was the only one willing to take the challenge. Shut the f**k up."

Hasim then replied to Logan's post as writing, "I didn't back out, your brother cancelled the fight." Hasim further slammed Logan, "But you and I weigh the same thing, stay on hush mode like you do when we in person [shushing face emoji]. Mf goes [saluting emoji] when he see me after saying it's on sight, then gets in front of [camera emoji] and pop s**t. You more of a b***h then your brother [laughing with tears emoji]."

Clapping back, Logan tweeted, "I weigh the same as Jake. The same weight you couldn't make & quit at." The 27-year-old went on calling Hasim "an unprofessional failure," before adding, "Consider yourself lucky I even looked in your direction [clown emoji]."

25-year-old Jake out-boxed 47-year-old Silva and rallied for a knockdown in the final round to earn a unanimous decision. The YouTuber-turned-boxer won the match with scores of 77-74 and 78-73 (twice).

Silva began defensively as Jake went all out from Round 1. Despite his age, Silva managed to throw some good pinches in almost all the rounds. By Round 7, Silva started to show signs of age and fatigue. When he attempted to bully Jake, he was hit with a hard right hand that knocked him down.

After the match, Jake said to the press, "It's a surreal moment. Hard work pays off. I want to say thank you to Anderson. He was my idol growing up and he inspired me to be great. Without him, we wouldn't have a fight this year. He's a tough mofo, like for real. I have a lot of respect for him."

In the meantime, Silva said, "I worked hard to do a special show for everybody here." He added, "I say thank you for everyone to come. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose but I continue training hard because I was born for this."

Despite the solid win against Silva, boxing fans are not ready to give Jake credit, with many highlighting that Jake continues to fight those who are way older than him. One person tweeted, "Are you ready to stop fighting retirement homes and fight a real fight or nah? ... nah."

"[Jake] may have lost on points, but Anderson Silva, a 47 year old veteran in MMA, reminded Jake Paul why he'll never be ready to fight real boxers. Silva lasted the full 8 rounds and was forcing Jake to fight, he's the real winner tonight," another commenter said.
