AceShowbiz - Safaree Samuels has clarified where things stand between him and Kimbella Matos. The Jamaican-American rapper set the record straight when commenting on a clip from a recent episode of "Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta".
In the said video, Safaree could be seen walking hand-in-hand with Kimbella. After complimenting each other, Kimbella said, "I respect you and I respect your situation all the way," seemingly referring to his co-parenting relationship with his ex-wife Erica Mena.
"You're not the reason I got a divorce, you know what I'm saying? " the emcee told his companion. In response, she replied, "Yeah. And that's what people think. People think and got this narrative of me like I cause your relationship to end."
Later in a confession, Safaree noted that Kimbella is not his girlfriend. He then explained, "This is a stage of me and Kimbella getting to know each other. As far as how my ex would feel, this is really not my problem."
The clip also showed Safaree and Kimbella sharing steamy kisses. He then flirted with her, before playing with her butt.
The footage, which was uploaded on Instagram, did not go unnoticed by Safaree. Offering his clarification, the rapper/TV personality declared in the comment section, "This was filmed 7 months ago stop tagging me," hinting that things are over between him and Kimbella.
