The Adonis Creed depicter in the 'Creed' film series is unfazed by the Internet's comparison of his look at the 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' event to Jim Carrey's 'The Mask' character.

AceShowbiz - Michael B. Jordan is clapping back at fashion police who judged his look at the premiere of "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever". Following his appearance at the red carpet event, the actor was roasted by the Internet over his yellow suit that drew comparison to Jim Carrey's "The Mask" character.

But the 35-year-old hunk isn't going to lose his confidence despite the criticism. Unfazed by the trolling, he responded to the chatter by posting a video on his Instagram Story on Thursday, October 27.

In the short clip, Michael poked fun at the comparison between his look in the yellow suit and The Mask by channeling the green-faced troublemaker with a filter. "Internet's funny," he said in Jim's signature voice. "Say what you want, but that's super smokin'," he added, quoting Jim's iconic line from the 1994 movie.

Many have since come to Michael's defense, with one person reacting to his social media post, "Lmao nah he won, that's how you respond to a roast." Another begged to differ with the critics, "He looked good though cause when guys do the basic tuxedo look it gets boring."

A third agreed as saying, "Nothing wrong with the outfit. Problem is this generation do not understand personal style. Everyone wants to look the same.." Another supportive fan wrote, "I'm glad he's showing more personality and can laugh at himself."

For the special screening of the "Black Panther" sequel on Wednesday, October 26 in Los Angeles, Michael opted for an eye-catching look in a slick yellow jacket and matching wide-legged trousers from Louis Vuitton's spring 2023 menswear collection. He paired the outfit with a white tank, black shoes and accessorized with a gold bracelet and a gold chain-link necklace from Tiffany & Co. as well as a gold Vacheron Constantin watch.

Social media users were soon reminded of Jim's character in "The Mask" (1994) as one person tweeted, "This is exactly what Michael B Jordan gave in that yellow suit," alongside of pictures of The Mask from the movie. Another weighed in, "It's giving zara women's section pants suit."
