The former NFL wide receiver announces his status with DONDA Sports after NFL and NBA stars Aaron Donald and Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown terminate their contracts with Ye's sports marketing agency.

AceShowbiz - While many stars and brands cut their ties with Kanye West amid his anti-Semitic controversy, Antonio Brown makes it clear that he's got the rapper's back. On Tuesday, October 25, the former NFL wide receiver released a statement regarding his status with DONDA Sports after NFL and NBA stars left Ye's sports marketing agency.

Antonio, who was named as DONDA Sports' president in February, voiced his support to Ye in the said statement, which he shared on Twitter. "Over the past few weeks the world's reactionary and selective outrage at comments in the media made by my brother, Ye, have inflamed and sparked rampant conversation and reflection," he began.

"I too have been able to reflect on statements that I and others in my circle have made that lack clarity in expressing my stance," AB continued. "The people and brands that have relentlessly profited from black ideas and black culture chose to distance themselves at a very specific time: a time that demonstrated their prioritization of certain groups over others."

He went on noting, "None of us in this world are free of judgment, yet we live in a time where scrutiny and pessimism have driven our dialogues on cultural issues toward diatribes. Sensationalism and groupthink have forced people to not speak their minds and act out in fear rather than love."

"For these reasons, I stand by my dedication to freedom of speech, thought, and opinion. I actively seek to coexist in places where I may have a difference of opinion because it's diversity in thought that pushes humanity forward," Antonio added, before concluding, "I remain in support of the humanity that is Ye."

AB's statement arrived after Donda Sports lost two key clients amid backlash over Ye's anti-Semitic remarks. Los Angeles Rams defensive lineman Aaron Donald and Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown claimed in statements that that they were no longer associated with DONDA Sports.
