AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift continues to prove that she's one of the most successful artists in the music industry. The Grammy-winning musician just broke two records with her newly-released 10th album, "Midnights", which arrived on Friday, October 21.

Less than 24 hours after its release, Spotify announced on Twitter, "And before the clock could even strike midnight on October 22nd, Taylor Swift broke the record for most-streamed album in a single day in Spotify history." The music streaming giant added, "Congratulations, taylorswift13."

Taylor was elated by the news. In response, she quote-retweeted the post and exclaimed, "How did I get this lucky, having you guys out here doing something this mind blowing?! Like what even just happened?!"

Taylor also had another achievement to celebrate as she became the female artist with the most monthly listeners on Spotify as of October 2022. She beats the likes of Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish and Dua Lipa.

Announced at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards, "Midnights" has sold more than 800,000 copies in the U.S. through its first day across all available formats, according to Luminate. It originally consisted of 13 songs, but Taylor has unleashed seven bonus tracks in the "Midnights - 3am edition".

Speaking of the album, which only features a guest appearance from Lana Del Rey ("Snow on the Beach"), Taylor wrote on Instagram, "Midnights is a wild ride of an album and I couldn't be happier that my co pilot on this adventure was @jackantonoff. He's my friend for life (presumptuous I know but I stand by it) and we've been making music together for nearly a decade."

"HOWEVER… this is our first album we've done with just the two of us as main collaborators. We'd been toying with ideas and had written a few things we loved, but Midnights actually really coalesced and flowed out of us when our partners (both actors) did a film together in Panama," she added. "Jack and I found ourselves back in New York, alone, recording every night, staying up late and exploring old memories and midnights past."

"We were so lucky to also work with our brilliant collaborators @sam_dew, @sounwave, Lana Del Rey, @jahaansweet, @keanubeats, William Bowery, and @zoeisabellakravitz. @sharp_stick was our excellent engineer. The wonderful and wise @bethgarrabrant took the album photographs," Taylor went on raving. "Midnights is a collage of intensity, highs and lows and ebbs and flows. Life can be dark, starry, cloudy, terrifying, electrifying, hot, cold, romantic or lonely. Just like Midnights. Which is out now."
