The former 'House of Cards' star, who tied the knot with the Yves Saint Laurent executive in 2018, reportedly cites irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split in her filing.

AceShowbiz - Robin Wright has pulled the plug on her marriage to Clement Giraudet. It was unveiled that the "House of Cards" alum has filed for divorce from her husband after four years of marriage.

Revealing the news was TMZ. According to the outlet, the 56-year-old actress cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split and listed the date of separation as July 31.

In her filing, Robin reportedly stated that "all assets are his/her separate property" based on the "parties' post-nuptial agreement." She also asked the court not to use its ability to award spousal support to either of them.

Robin and Clement, who is the Yves Saint Laurent executive, were first spotted together during Paris Fashion Week in September 2017. At that time, they were captured at watching a soccer game with her son, Hopper Penn.

They hit headlines again in March amid rumors suggesting the couple had secretly wed. Both Robin and Clement were seen sporting gold bands on their left ring fingers as they sat in the crowd at the UEFA Champions League soccer game in the French capital, but they did not acknowledge the claims at the time.

The pair eventually tied the knot in August 2018. While the two kept their nuptials private, her daughter Dylan Penn appeared to share footage from the event on her Instagram page.

"Weddin vibes (sic)," she captioned a clip of guests dancing outdoors at the bohemian-style party, which she tagged with the location of La Roche-sur-le-Buis in southeastern France.

The marriage was Robin's third. She was previously married to actor Dane Witherspoon from 1986 to 1988. After splitting from Dane, she moved on to Sean Penn, with whom she also shares Hopper and Dyland. The now-exes got hitched in 1996 but divorced in 2010.

The Golden Globe Award-winning actress went on to become engaged to "Hell or High Water" actor Ben Foster. The pair, however, called it quits in August 2015.
