The Pussycat Dolls lead singer accidentally reveals her nipple cover as she suffers a wardrobe malfunction while on her way to a taping of Sherri Shepherd's new talk show.

AceShowbiz - Nicole Scherzinger has been saved from embarrassment as she nearly exposed herself during one of her latest outings. The 44-year-old singer had an unfortunate wardrobe malfunction while on her way to a taping of Sherri Shepherd's new talk show.

On Wednesday, September 21, The Pussycat Dolls' lead singer stepped out in New York in a black off-the-shoulder dress covered in tiny polka dots while heading to the taping of the TV show. She, however, showed more than what she bargained for as one side of the dress sank a bit too low, accidentally revealing the edge of her nipple cover.

Nicole seemed to be unaware of the wardrobe malfunction as she confidently strutted her stuff on the street of New York City while heading to an awaiting car. The dress also featured a high slit to show off her toned legs, as she completed her look with pointy-toed black pumps.

"The Masked Singer" judge wore her raven tresses parted down the middle and tied back into a bun. She added a pair of large black sunglasses and a pair of simple earrings to her stylish look while sporting bright red lips.

Once she arrived at the studio, Nicole changed into a gorgeous sleeveless black dress that hugged her curves and flaunted her fit arms. The dress was adorned with gleaming rhinestones to add extra sparkle.

During the sit-down, Nicole and Sherri talked about the former's music career and her upcoming releases. They also touched on Nicole's role in helping the launch of One Direction. Sherri said she always assumed Simon Cowell was the sole architect of the boyband's creation on "The X Factor", until she saw behind-the-scenes footage of Nicole working with the future superstars.

"It's kind of crazy, Sherri. I never thought this footage would see the light of day. I thought Simon burned it," Nicole jokingly addressed the video. "It's really cool that it came out. What people are seeing is me putting them together the way that my mind was working."

She added of the group's formation, "I was like, look I just came out of a girl group, I know how successful and how powerful it can be to be a group. We've got to join forces."
