The earrings' design is inspired by the high-end, ultra-exclusive American Express Black Card. Also featuring designer Demna's own take on the Mastercard logo, it's from the house's spring 2020 collection.

The piece retailed for $425, but fans were not digging the look as they took to social media to express their bewilderment and troll Kim. "WTF is @KimKardashian wearing for her earrings? Credit cards?" one Twitter user asked. Another hater joked, "Are they contactless pay enabled? Does she tap to pay with her head at the payment terminal? How does that work?"

Not impressed by the accessories, someone even urged the SKIMS founder to throw the earrings away. Loving how the mom of four paired the earrings with a long-sleeved black turtle neck top and a pair of orange and black animal print Balenciaga boots that transformed into high-waisted pants, one person raved, "Kim Kardashian you are so pretty."
