The 'Hold Me Closer' singer posts a birthday tribute on Instagram to mark her sons Sean's 17th birthday and Jayden's 16th birthday respectively after claiming that they have her blocked.

AceShowbiz - Britney Spears still remembers her sons' birthdays despite their strained relationship. Amid the family drama which was ignited by Jayden James' TV interview, the pop star has wished her two kids a happy birthday.

Both of Britney's children are having their birthdays this week. Her firstborn Sean Preston will turn 17 on Wednesday, September 14, while her second child Jayden turned 16 a few days earlier, on September 12.

In an Instagram post shared on late Tuesday, September 13, Britney wrote, "Happy birthday Preston and Jayden!!! Love you both so much !!!" She included a couple of photos of her and her children, informing her followers, "These photos are from last year !!!"

It's unclear if Britney has personally talked to his sons on their birthdays after she called them out following Jayden's interview which aired on "60 Minutes Australia". In the interview, the teen talked about his mom's social media posts and defended Britney's father Jamie Spears for enacting conservatorship, believing it was in the best interest of the "...Baby One More Time" hitmaker.

"He was trying to be like any father, like pursue his daughter's dream of being a superstar, working and doing all these concerts and performing," Jayden said of his grandfather. "But I think some people are just, like, ceasing to realize how much he cares about her."

Of his relationship with his mother, Jayden stated, "I 100% think this can be fixed." He added, "It's just going to take a lot of time and effort. I just want her to get better mentally. When she gets better I really want to see her again."

Britney later slammed Jayden for questioning her mental health, believing that his "hateful" remarks were fueled by fear that her financial obligations to her two sons will end soon. "Jayden, as you undermine my behavior just like my whole family always has with, 'Hope she gets better, I will pray for her' ... Pray for what?" she said in an audio clip shared earlier this month. "Jayden, as you undermine my behavior just like my whole family always has with, 'Hope she gets better, I will pray for her' ... Pray for what?"

"Or is the reasoning behind you guys deciding to be hateful is because it's actually over in two years and you don't get anything?" she claimed. Child support arrangements typically end once a minor child becomes an adult, which is the age of 18 in the state of California.

In another Instagram rant, the 40-year-old singer declared, "I'm not willing to see you until I feel valued." She would later claim that she was "told you guys have blocked me," of Sean and Jayden.

In other news, Britney has denied shading Christina Aguilera after she's accused of body-shaming. "By no means was I being critical of Christina's beautiful body, it is what it is !!!" she wrote earlier on Tuesday. "I flew to see her show once and the main thing I noticed was the difference of our people on stage !!! By no means did I even mention Christina, look at my post !!! I was inspired by her show and she is a beautiful woman of power … Thank you @xtina for inspiring me !!!"

She went on explaining, "To be honest, I'm not trying to be critical of anybody. What I posted is a projection of the insecurities I deal with all the time as a result of how my parents and the media have treated me ... I would never intentionally body shame anybody because I know what it feels like ... I struggle with this because of how I feel about myself, not because I hate how anybody looks ... I feel like my family knew I was insecure and people were trying to purposefully feed into this insecurity by not letting me have a choice in the people who were on stage with me. I appreciate you all being understanding with me as I figure out this new life I'm living !!!"

In her previous post, Britney said, "I wish I could have chosen the nannies for my children ... my dancers ... I mean if I had Christina Aguilera's dancers I would have looked extremely small," as she aired her grievance over being robbed of her freedom during her 31-year conservatorship. Her message accompanied a quote attributed to comedian Rodney Dangerfield which read, "I found there was only one way to look thin: hang out with fat people."
