AceShowbiz - Harrison Ford couldn't help but get emotional while premiering the first teaser of "Indiana Jones V". The actor, who portrays a titular daredevil archaeologist in the franchise, seemingly held back his tears when delivering a speech at the D23 Expo.

"Thank you for making these films such an incredible experience for all of us. I'm very proud to say that this one is fantastic," the 80-year-old Hollywood star said on Saturday, September 10. Pointing at his co-star Phoebe Waller-Bridge, he said, "And this is one of the reasons."

" 'Indiana Jones' movies are about fantasy and mystery, but they're also about heart," the husband of Calista Flockhart continued. "We have a really great story to tell, as well as a movie that will kick your a**."

Harrison then insinuated that the new movie might be his last in the franchise. "This is it. I will not fall down for you again. But thank you so much," he said.

Phoebe also shared the same excitement as Harrison. The Helena depicter in the film gushed, "I had the time of my life making this movie. I feel so incredibly lucky and keeping up with this guy is EXHAUSTING."

The new "Indiana Jones" film will be released in 2023 and sees James Mangold taking over as director from Steven Spielberg. Meanwhile, producer Frank Marshall has promised fans that the project will be worth the wait following several delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic and production setbacks.

"It's a great story, it's a great character, and I think you're going to be very happy with this movie," Frank stated. "It's everything I think that everybody wants out of an 'Indiana Jones' movie."

Frank explained that his main role in the project is to ensure that James' vision is translated to the big screen. He said, "It's really up to the creative forces that are behind this one, so I leave that to Jim Mangold. As a producer, I always look at my role in these movies as supporting the vision of the director."
