Responding to her son's interview for '60 Minutes Australia', the 'Hold Me Closer' songstress slams the teen for undermining her behavior 'just like [her] whole family always has with.'

AceShowbiz - Britney Spears' family rift only intensifies following her son Jayden James and his father Kevin Federline's interview for "60 Minutes Australia". After it aired on Sunday night, September 3, the pop superstar clapped back at her younger child on social media.

The 40-year-old took to Instagram on Monday to respond to her son's claims in the interview. In a voice note, the mother of two suggested that her son Jayden questions her mental health out of fear that her financial obligations to her two sons will end soon.

"I can totally understand why my family would have a problem with me doing my own thing. Maybe because I never have," she began in the audio clip. "Jayden, as you undermine my behavior just like my whole family always has with, 'Hope she gets better, I will pray for her' ... Pray for what?"

"I keep working so I can pay off [my mother Lynne Spears'] legal fees and her house," Britney continued. "Do you guys want me to get better so I can continue to give your dad $40,000 a month?" the "Toxic" singer claimed, revealing her current contributions. "Or is the reasoning behind you guys deciding to be hateful is because it's actually over in two years and you don't get anything?"

Child support arrangements typically end once a minor child becomes an adult, which is the age of 18 in the state of California. Jayden turns 16 in just days, while his elder brother Sean Preston will turn 17 next week.

Britney then recalled the time she probably last saw her children. "That one time I said, 'I want to see you more' you called your dad and I never saw you again," she shared. "I didn't do anything wrong and I know I'm not perfect, but the love I've given you and how much I adored you in your diplomatic ways, speaking like [my dad Jamie] - self entitled, 'This can be fixed, I'll see her when she's better.' Jayden it was a miracle I even had a normal conversation when I got out of that place."

Accusing her son of not fully supporting her, the "Hold Me Closer" singer said, "But you were just like my other family, you secretly loved looking at me like something wrong with me." She added, "I didn't need family hiding s**t in houses and whispering s**t behind my back, feeling subconsciously guilty because I paid for every f**king thing in both homes. I needed unconditional love and support."

Britney went on revealing that she no longer believes in God because of how her family has treated her. "Honestly, my dad needs to be in jail for the rest of his life. But, god would not allow that to happen to me if god existed," she said. "I don't believe god exists because of how my family and my children have treated me. I'm an atheist ya'll."

During his interview for "60 Minutes Australia", Jayden talked about his fractured relationship with his mother. "I 100% think this can be fixed," the 15-year-old said. "It's just going to take a lot of time and effort. I just want her to get better mentally. When she gets better I really want to see her again."

He also defended Britney's father Jamie Spears for enacting conservatorship, believing it was in the best interest of the "...Baby One More Time" hitmaker. "He was trying to be like any father, like pursue his daughter's dream of being a superstar, working and doing all these concerts and performing," Jayden said. "But I think some people are just, like, ceasing to realize how much he cares about her."
