AceShowbiz - "Mission: Impossible" fans have got a little teaser of what to expect from the next installment in the franchise. A PSA for "Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning" has leaked online, showing a crazy aerial stunt performed by none other than Tom Cruise himself.

In the leaked footage, which was exclusively shown during a presentation of the movie at CinemaCon earlier this year, Cruise is casually hanging off on a biplane that's airborne. He's holding to a rig and talking into the camera, explaining that he's busy filming the upcoming movie.

Midway through his speech, he is interrupted by director Christopher McQuarrie, who is on board another plane. The filmmaker tells the actor that they need to keep shooting because they're losing daylight.

Cruise signs off by saying he can't wait to show the film and he'll see everyone at the movies. His and McQuarrie's planes then simultaneously nosedive to the left, with the 60-year-old actor simply hanging on and still standing.

McQuarrie previously teased the same stunt by posting on his Twitter account back in July a photo of Cruise dangling on the plane in celebration of the actor's birthday. He is directing "Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One" and "Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part Two". Production for the first part wrapped in September 2021 and the movie is set to his U.S. theaters on July 14, 2023.

Meanwhile, filming for the second part is currently underway, with McQuarrie also serving behind the lens. In August, Cruise interrupted a couple's casual hike around the English Lake District in the U.K. with a paragliding stunt, which was believed to be filmed for the next installment in the action film franchise.

The Ethan Hunt depicter reportedly arrived at the top of High Crag by helicopter and apologized to the couple for ruining their hike with the noise. "Sorry for disturbing your peaceful walk with all the noise," he allegedly told them, before running towards the edge.
