AceShowbiz - Adele is now recovering. The "Easy On Me" hitmaker, who has had back problems since she's a teenager, has revealed in a new interview that she injured her back after getting pranked by her son Angelo.
Speaking to ELLE for its September issue cover story, the 34-year-old chart-topping singer shared that she has a slipped disc that happened after a prank by her 9-year-old son. The Grammy-winning artist said that she "slipped her L6 a few months ago, when Angelo jumped out to scare her as she came out of the bathroom."
Adele also unveiled that Angelo is a major Billie Eilish fan, stressing that he's totally "obsessed" with the 20-year-old star. She even took him to watch her perform at The O2 in London.
"He'll go up to [his room] after school and read all the lyrics and then he'll want to discuss them," she said of her son, whom she shares with ex-husband, Simon Konecki. The couple split in 2019 after two years of marriage and seven years together.
Elsewhere in the interview, Adele opened up about her relationship with boyfriend Rich Paul, divulging if marriage and babies are in their future. Asked if she would ever want to remarry, the "Someone Like You" star, who is currently dating sports agent Rich, confidently replied, "Yes, absolutely."
Of having more kids, Adele said, "I definitely want more kids." She further elaborated, "I'm a homemaker and I'm a matriarch, and a stable life helps me with my music. But right now, all I got in my brain is Vegas. I wanna f**king nail it."
During an interview with ELLE U.K. in August, Adele hinted that she can see herself marrying Rich. "I've never been in love like this. I'm obsessed with him," the "Rolling in the Deep" songstress confessed.
However, the singer played coy when asked whether the couple are engaged. She said, "Well! Well. Well, I'm not married ... I'm not married ... I'm just in love! I'm happy as I'll ever be. I might as well be married."
Adele and Rich are said to have first met at a party several years ago but didn't start dating until much later. They first went public with their romance in July 2021 when they were pictured attending a basketball game together.
