When appearing on the 'Call Her Daddy' podcast, the former 'Hart of Dixie' star also clarifies her comment about how she felt regarding her split from the actor.

AceShowbiz - Rachel Bilson is dating someone new two years after she broke up with Bill Hader. The former "Hart of Dixie" star confirmed her new romance while appearing in the Wednesday, August 31 episode of the "Call Her Daddy" podcast.

Asked whether she's single, the 41-year-old simply replied, "I am not." Host Alex Cooper then jokingly inquired, "Is he bringing you coffee in the morning? Is he bringing you missionary [sex]?" to which the actress responded enthusiastically, "F**k yeah."

Rachel did not mention the name of her new beau. However, back in May, she sparked dating rumors with artist Zac LaRoc after they were spotted packing on PDAs during an outing in Malibu, California.

In June, Rachel gave rare comments on her past romance with Bill. "We dated. I went to the f**king Golden Globes," she told Aubrey Plaza on her "Broad Ideas" podcast at that time.

Meanwhile, when speaking to Mandy Moore in the June 6 episode of her podcast, the Summer Roberts depicter on "The O.C." divulged that she "went through a really hard breakup and it was during the pandemic."

"I could not leave my house, you know what I mean? I had nothing else to do but sit in it, and deal with it and feel it," the Hollywood star, who didn't mention any names at that time, went on sharing. "It was probably the hardest thing I've ever doneā , harder than childbirth."

Rachel, who has been co-parenting daughter Briar Rose with Hayden Christensen, further argued that the fallout with the unnamed ex "hurt like a mother**ker." Luckily, she managed to get through the hard time as she said, "If you actually face it, you can come out of it and be like, 'OK, I did that and I'm ready for the next thing.' "

Now in her interview with Alex, she noted that the quote was taken out of context. "I said, obviously, he and I, we're not still together, so we broke up. But it was during a time where you could not leave your house," she said. "I had to deal with this. I had to deal with being alone and taking care of my kid and everything else."

"Being isolated and not being able to connect with any humans, not being able to help myself. I got into a depression, all of these things. That time having to be forced to face all of your s**t I said was harder than childbirth," Rachel elaborated. "Is anything more painful? F**k no. Maybe kidney stones."
