AceShowbiz - NeNe Leakes is celebrating what would be her late husband Gregg Leakes' 67th birthday. "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" alum penned an emotional tribute on her Instagram account, noting that she "misses" him every day.

Alongside a picture of her hugging the real estate investor, NeNe wrote, "Missing the man that always had a plan!" Admitting that "today is a tuff one," the TV personality added, "every year on this date we would be out celebrating you!"

She went on to say, "I can't believe we are wishing you a heavenly Birthday today. I feel like you went somewhere and you'll be back." She concluded, "I miss you everyday Gregg! HAPPY BIRTHDAY WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH."

Gregg died in September 2021 from colon cancer. Three months prior, the reality star announced his cancer had returned. The businessman was first diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer in 2018 and underwent chemotherapy for six months.

His family confirmed his death in a statement which read, "After a long battle with cancer, Gregg Leakes has passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by all of his children, very close loved ones and wife NeNe Leakes."

Following Gregg's passing, NeNe moved on with couture suit king Nyonisela Sioh as she revealed that she even got her late husband's seal of approval. "I will love Gregg forever & ever! Grieving is hard! Even harder & depressing alone," the "Glee" star told The Shade Room in December. "Gregg and I had a very tearful conversation before his passing. His words to me were 'be happy, keep smiling and he who finds you, has found a good one.' "

Their romance faced issues when Nyonisela's estranged wife sued NeNe, claiming that the couple had an affair while he was still married. Malomine Tehmeh-Sioh is seeking $100,000 in damages from the reality star for "alienation of affections" and "criminal conversation." NeNe denied the allegations.
