The 'Cruel Intentions' actress and the film director, who previously dated in 2019, are seen packing on some PDAs when speaking to a female fan near an Erewhon Market store.

AceShowbiz - Have Selma Blair and David Lyons gotten back together? The "Cruel Intentions" actress and her former partner sparked reconciliation rumors after they were spotted getting close during a recent outing in Los Angeles.

In one of the photos taken on Saturday, August 13, Selma was seen resting her arm on his chest while speaking to a female fan near an Erewhon Market store. The director, meanwhile, put his arm around her neck.

During the chat, the 50-year-old beauty was seen playing with the filmmaker's hair. In another photo, the duo was seen walking side-by-side as they were joined by her service dog.

Selma kept it casual in a white tank top, pink pants and white sneakers. She accessorized her looks with diamond jewelry. David, in the meantime, sported a pink T-shirt, dark pants and white shoes.

Both Selma and David have yet to address their relationship status. However, a source told Page Six that the two are "just friends."

Selma and David began dating in 2019. The two sparked engagement rumors in December that year after the "Legally Blonde" star was spotted wearing a huge diamond ring while she was out and about in the luxe locale.

The recent Los Angeles outing came after Selma's restraining order against her ex-boyfriend Ronald Carlson was extended. After filing for a protective order on February 25, the 50-year-old alleged her ex Ronald Carlson attacked her on February 22 and now the restrictions will stay in place until at least 10 September, on the request of her former partner.

Selma previously alleged Ronald, who she dated for around seven years, had lashed out when he came to her house to return a television, minutes after she'd finished a multiple sclerosis treatment, which left her feeling weak. She alleged that he then verbally attacked her, calling her "useless" and saying, "I don't f**king deserve this, I can do so much better than you."

The actress claimed the court documents that he then "became enraged" and jumped "on top of her body while she lying prone on the sofa." She alleged that he "strangled her, throttling her and shaking her head and shoulders aggressively."

She said that in self-defense, she put her fingers in his eyes and mouth while shouting to her housekeeper - who was upstairs - for help, but he allegedly covered her mouth and pushed her face "down into the coach."
