In a new interview, the actor, who is known for his portrayal of drug dealer Fezco on the hit HBO series, shares that he broke his skull after falling into a construction pit.

AceShowbiz - "Euphoria" actor Angus Cloud revealed that he almost died following a scary fall back in 2013. In a new interview, the actor, who is known for his portrayal of drug dealer Fezco on the hit HBO series, shared that he broke his skull after falling into a construction pit.

"It's real," he told Variety on Wednesday, August 10 when asked about the scar that runs along the left side of his scalp. "I broke my skull on Friday the 13th," he added.

The actor explained that he was walking alone at night in downtown Oakland, California when he fell into the 10-foot deep ditch. "I woke up 12 hours later at the bottom. I was trapped," he recalled. "I eventually climbed out after - I don't know how long. It was hella hard to climb out, because my skull was broken, but my skin wasn't, so all the bleeding was internal, pressing up against my brain. But they wasn't gonna find me down there. I found myself. Or God found me, whatever you want to call it."

Cloud, who also shared that he broke his fingers during the fall, eventually managed to pull himself out of the pit. He noted that he "didn't feel no pain," adding, "I was in survival mode, you feel me?" After he arrived at his mom's house, his mom initially thought that he was on drugs.

"Because I was a kid! I was 14 or 15 … my pupils was hella dilated. I was trying to tell her what happened, but I could only start a sentence - I couldn't finish it. So I was like, 'I'm just gonna go sleep in my bed,' " he revealed. His mom, however, didn't let him sleep because he "would have died."

Cloud continued, "She gave me some water, and I started throwing up hella mouthfuls of crimson red blood. S**t was crazy. So then my mama took me to the children's hospital, and they saved my life. That's what the scar's from. They cut my head open, they put some screws and a plate over where I broke my skull and - s**t, sealed me back up, and that was that."

He shared that he spent five days in ICU and was "loaded off morphine." The actor added, "The brain is so fragile. It was damn near like nothing really happened. I'm so blessed to just have minor brain damage. You know, it's so minor it ain't even really worth speaking about."

During the interview, Cloud also addressed his now-viral interview at Vanity Fair's Oscars Party in March in which he was seen mumbling his words. "[It's] probably a little bit slower," he said of his speech. "And I mix the front of one word with the back of the next. I'll scribble-scrabble two words together. Mix-match."
