The female rapper also promotes her new project on her Instagram account by writing, 'It took a lot of self reflecting to get to the point in my life where I am right now.'

AceShowbiz - Megan Thee Stallion has unleashed a dramatic teaser for "Traumazine". Released on Tuesday, August 9, the short clip shows the Grammy-winning attending a funeral in style.

The 19-second-long video opens with Houston hip-hop artist looking devastated as she puts a flower on top of a coffin. While she initially wears a black outfit and matching veil, the female rapper sports a white dress and a giant hat as she walks away from the service before she looks at the camera.

Megan also promoted her new project on her Instagram account. "It took a lot of self reflecting to get to the point in my life where I am right now," she wrote alongside photos of herself. "I ain't saying I finally figured everything out or that I'm finally at peace, bc I'm not… buttt im excited for the hotties to get a better understanding of what's happening in my head #TRAUMAZINE."

Megan confirmed she has finished her new album in late July. Posting a picture of herself working in a studio, she captioned the snap, "So happy abt my album. it's finished. it's honest. it's me. it's real. it's for the hotties (sic)."

Around a week prior to that, Megan and fellow rapper Future joined forces to release her new single "Pressurelicious". The star's new tune marked her third release of the year, following on from Grammy-nominated "Sweetest Pie" with Dua Lipa in March and "Plan B", which she debuted at Coachella in April.

In an official release, the new single has been described as "a punchy, seductive track that showcases the bravado of a woman that knows who she is, what she has to offer, and the willingness of a partner to love and embrace every bit of it." The track in question was produced by HitKidd.
