AceShowbiz - Pete Davidson clearly couldn't hide his sadness after Kim Kardashian ended their nine-month relationship. The former star of "Saturday Night Live" was spotted looking gloomy while shopping in Australia.
The 28-year-old comedian was photographed shopping at a Target store in Cairns Central Mall after leaving his hotel on Sunday, August 7. The star, who is currently in Australia to film his upcoming movie "Wizards!", looked downcast during the day.
In photos obtained by Daily Mail, Pete could be seen wearing a black tracksuit and a matching baseball cap as he visited the shopping center. "The King of Staten Island" star kept his eyes shielded from the sun with a pair of reflective sunglasses. He opted for a monochromatic ensemble and donned a pair of black sweatpants along with a thick black hoodie. He wore a light blue shirt which peaked through underneath and he slipped into black sneakers to stay comfortable during his brief outing.
Pete's Sunday sighting came shortly after it was reported that Kim broke up with him due to his "immaturity and young age." A source told Page Six that "The Kardashians" star struggled with maintaining a long-distance relationship with him as he's away from America.
"Pete is 28 and Kim is 41, they are just in very different places at the moment," the insider told the outlet. "Pete is totally spontaneous and impulsive and wants her to fly to New York, or wherever he is on a moment's notice. But Kim has four kids and it isn't that easy. She needs to focus on the kids."
A separate source told Daily Mail that their break up "was completely amicable." The so-called informant further spilled, "They had a great time while it lasted but long distance and different priorities saw it come to an end."
The former couple was first linked in October last year, weeks after Kim made her hosting debut on "Saturday Night Live", where the now-exes shared an on-screen kiss. During a confessional on her Hulu show "The Kardashians", Kim revealed that she felt "a vibe" when she kissed Pete on "SNL" and was struck by the desire to "try something different."
After he neglected to show up to her afterparty, she got in touch with a producer on the comedy show and secured Pete's phone number, though a serious romance was far from her mind. "I wasn't even thinking, like, "Oh my God. I'm gonna be in a relationship with him," ' the SKIMS founder admitted, explaining that to the contrary she was "basically just DTF."
