AceShowbiz - Jenelle Evans's eldest son Jace has turned 13. To celebrate his latest milestone on Friday, August 5, the former star of "Teen Mom 2" took to Instagram to share a cute video from his birthday celebration.

In the said clip, the 30-year-old could be heard saying, "13 years ago, Jace was born. That's right. It was his 13th birthday this week. We went to Olive Garden for lunch. Picked up his cake." When she asked the birthday boy whether he liked it, he simply said, "Yeah."

The cake looked like a huge tire with a dirt bike on top of it. After Jace cut the cake, his mom said, "Honestly, I didn't need to get a cake this big." In the caption, she gushed, "JACE IS 13 YEARS OLD #HappyBirthday #MindBlown."

Jenelle shares Jace with her ex Andrew Lewis. Unfortunately, she lost custody of her kid after she got arrested several times due to her battle with heroin addiction. It led her to have a rocky relationship with her mother, Barbara.

In January 2021, Jenelle declared that Jace has been living with her "full time." She said in a TikTok video, "You are probably watching 'Teen Mom' on Netflix right now as we speak and if you are, good. That was the old me. That was the young me, the stupid me, the me that took risks."

"Now, let's not sit here 10 years later and come to my page and hate on me from my mistakes that I've learned from. Let's not get caught up on the $200 you let me use to bail me out of jail. Let's not get caught up on the dumbass men that I dated. I have custody of Jace. He lives with me now full-time," the TV personality pointed out. "My kids are happy, they're healthy. That's all that f**king matters."

Reacting to Jenelle's claims, her mother Barbara revealed to TMZ that she still has full custody of her grandson Jace. Barbara also spilled that she called her reality star daughter soon after the latter posted the video, adding that the latter acknowledged that she "misspoke" and recognized her mother still has custody of her child.
